Welcome to American Legion Post 136 “Paul Stewart Irwin” located in Mulvane, Kansas. It is said Post 136 is the most active American Legion Post in the Wichita area and are the “Birthplace of the Patriot Guard”.

Post 136 is Named after "Paul Stewart Irwin" because he was the first fatality from Mulvane in the first World War. Paul Stewart Irwin was the son of a Methodist Minister. He was killed in action in Argon Forest, in Germany. There is a memorial at our Post commemorating his sacrifice, and there you can find more information about him.
